Shaping the Energy Future with Safe and Efficient End-use Gas Technologies
Utilization Technology Development NFP (UTD) is a not-for-profit scientific research organization comprised of 20 natural gas distribution company members that direct a program of near-term applied research to develop, test and demonstrate safe, energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly, and cost-effective end-use technologies to benefit their 37+ million gas customers in North America, in collaboration with many partners.
UTD’s Mission is to "Identify, select, fund, and oversee research projects resulting in innovative customer solutions which maximize the environmental performance, affordability, efficiency and safety of equipment and processes that use natural gas and renewable energy resources."
